It has been a busy month. We had a wonderful 4th of July this year again. We watched fireworks till about 11 PM. Our neighborhood puts on a great show, and we have a great block party. So, that was pretty fun.

My GrandMother had passed away. She had been struggling with cancer. I had talked to her often and sent her many cards during the last years of her struggle. I will miss her alot. She was always a positve person, and was a good person to talk to. The day after I had heard of her passing. I think it had sunk in. In the night, I thought I was going to have a seizure, so I took a pill that would stop it from going into a full seizure.

I am now in the adult section whe I visit my doctors. I like it better, because I can see the doctor faster, and can spend more time addressing my questions. We still adjust my pill dosage, depending on the frequencies of the seizures. I can tell my walking is a bit off. One of my pills I take does effect my walking. I will sometimes kick the person in front of me (not intentionally.)

That is about it for now.

I have been doing well. I have been concerned about my Grandma. She recently was put into a retirement home. She has had breast cancer in the past, but had treatment to get rid of the cancer. Unfortunatley she was diagnosed with lung cancer. When i talked with her last, she joked that she now knows what it must had felt like when I was getting chemo. I talk to her alot, and send her cards to help lift her spirits. I will give her a call on Christmas as well.

I had got a flu shot last week, and I felt sick for about a week. I hope it will protect me from any horrible flu that might go around.

Merry Christmas!!!

He was showing his age in the end. I knew his days were numbered, but I did not know his last day would fall on my birthday. So that evening we had to lay him to rest. I guess every year we will think of Snuggles on my birthday.

On July 29th was mine and Ray’s 6 year anniversary. We had got married in 2001. On on anniversary we gothospitaliity tickets to the Autolite Nationals. When we got there we had run into his Aunt and two uncles. The Aunt had got a place sit that was inside and right next to the track, so we could see everything from an air conditioned room. We had a wonderful day.

Our older cat Snuggles is getting old, and we are thinking of putting him down. He has stopped eating and drinking and is all you can feel are his bones. We don’t want to put him to sleep, but we dont want to see him suffer either. He is about 18 years old, so he has lived a long life.

Today is my 8 year anniversary since I had my bone marrow transplant. I can’t believe it has been 8 years. I go in for check ups at the hospital about 2 times a years. My blood counts look good, and there is no sign of PNH in my blood when they checked. On that note I am very happy.

The only problem I have since my transplant are the seizures that I have. I am on medication to control them. I have now been having night time seizure preminiton, and take a medication that can stop a seizure from comming on.

So that is all for now!!

One night I could not get any sleeep. I had watched the clock all night long. Two days later in the night, I had a seizure premintion. I had felt my head was going to start bouncing. I grabbed by my nightstand my meds to stop it from going to become a full blown seizure. The pills were able to quarantine it from gettin to be a gran mal seizure. I was very tired the next day after that seizure from comming on.

I have been still getting adjusted to my new pill increase that makes me more tired than normal. So, hopefully that will be the last one. The premintion had caught me off guard.
